    Card Reader issues

So I just bought a new PC that has a Super Talent internal card reader. Whenever I put my PNY CF card in it, it returns a "card not formatted" message. Then when I place this same card in my external card reader it reads it just fine. The internal reader does fine with my other cards, just the one PNY causes problems.

Other than the obvious (use the external reader or don't use the PNY card), any suggestions? Flash support is built into XP, so there are no drivers to update. I may try formatting the card with XP, but I've always heard it is better to format the cards via the camera.
Please ask before editing my photos, I'll say yes

I like to take the pictures...

    Re: Card Reader issues

I had trouble with my new laptop not reading my cards. They were OK in the camera and other computers, just not mine. I went to help and ask about the card reader and it gave me some drivers to download and it has worked fine ever since. I actually took back the first laptop that I bought due to the same problem. Try a windows update and if that doesn't work check with help to get the drivers, Jeff
