Adobe Camera Raw question

So I shoot in raw- NEF, and use ACR as my first and most times main step in post processing. Why is it that when you choose a group of files to open in pshop, when they open in ACR they are out of numeric order? It really bugs since I use the save option to save my files as a smaller jpg for uploading in my own categorical order, and since it imports out of numeric order, the saved order gets all messed up!

Did that make sense?

Anyways- is there anyway around this? Anyway I can rearrange the order in ACR before saving? Is it some preference I don't have checked?

I've never heard of this happening, unless perhaps you have some sort of ranking or file listing preference turned on...

What version of PS are you using? ACR is not a file browser, but a RAW converter. Sure you not referring to Adobe Bridge or the older PS File Browser?
