Thumbs up you guys tryin to get rid of me?

well ive been absent for some time now partly due to sickness(weve been throwing strepthroat back and foths at our house) and partly because i was having troubel getting to where everyone else has been. but unfortunatley for you all i found you! and ive been taking pictures.still using my little point and shoot tho.still using mostly only natural light too(window).and it seems ive made my bathroom into a studio.i spose im just comfortable and relaxed enough in there that that just so happens to be where i end up getting the camera out.so heres two of my more recents in the bathroom.lol.please be honest.(brutal if necessary) i wanna learn and i really dont expect t please everybody anyhow.

eek i hope i do this right looks a little more complex then the other one was.

    i like them

i like the first because it reminds me of my son trying to jump out of the tub mid-way through his bath. and the composition of the second one works really well for me. both very good attempts with a p&s camera. keep at it!

-by the way, what kind of camera do you use?

thank you matt.yep thats exactly what he was trying to dobut he couldnt quite get himself out.after a few tries he started getting angry with me.cause i waas taking photos instead of assisting his escape.i actually have another shot very similar that i like beter in some ways.but his older broyher was in the tub with him and im afraid thers some junk to behold in that one.theres one other shot to from this"series".not sure thoes should be posted tho.they have a sally mann look to them.if yr not famillir with sally mann.shes a controversial photographer known for nude photos ofher children.intresting stuff fer sure.i havent quite developed an opinion on her work yet tho.and i certainly dont want to be accused of exploiting my own children.

    Like the second one.

I like the second shot it has a very good feel to it. Hard to say just what it is I like about it but it just seem to work for me. The isolation of the arm and the graceful downward position of the hand gives it a very natural and appealing look. If I were to make a suggestion it would be to try a thighter crop at least on the right side and perhaps a little from the top to bring it more in line the the rule of thirds. Very nice work.
