    I think the b/w does not work here, Don. There's not enough separation of the women and flowers. They all sort of blend together

    I like this picture because it is black and white. I think if it had been color there would have been a struggle to find the real subject of the photo (the women or the flowers). By making it black and white the whold group becomes the subject. Excellent work.

    It is a risky photo. I thought it was worth dealing with because of the facial expression on the right-hand woman's face when she saw the little girl. I dodn't want the flowers to distract from the interaction. I tried to pick up the brightness on the woman and the girl to highlight them and eliminated the flower-distraction by the black and white.

    It was color and the flowers were overwhelming.
