This looks much better at 1280 x 1024, but I'd like your comments and suggestions, as you please. I've shot many Great Blue Herons and I was pleased to get somethig a little more dynamic then usual, but alas, he was in a tree about sixty feet up with some pine needles in the way.

Nice tight shot, and great way to fill the frame. My only critique would be the colors, they seem a tad flat for me. Maybe try spicing them up, or focusing more on the birds color's!

That's a beautiful shot, the action, the tree, the tightness, the DOF, awesome.

Try some autolevels or something to make it more vibrant, though it is good as is.

This picture is very different than most others I've seen, I like it very much! The only thing I'd like to see different is to make the colors pop more.

The shot is original, and I like the birds gaze. It is a little busy however. A levels adjustment will brighten this up and get the colors stronger. Looks sharp as well

Great capture , my only critique would be the color it seems dull . As for the rest all is good ,i know how hard it is to try and get a clear shot of a bird that realy does not want to pose for you
