    Re: Windows inside windows

I decided to go to town with the image in Photoshop.

My goal was to give it an antiqued ink stamped effect. Feel free to tell me if you like it or hate it. I just decided to have some fun

I really like the concept of the first picture. However, i think you lose a little in the second/modified one, as it looks more like a dark square than an actual window. Good job though.

This is interesting. I think the second becomes almost a different photograph.
It now becomes a window with blinds pulled and a fabric hanging from it. At least that's what my eyes told me.

I love the concept of the second one; perhaps you could re-do it in photoshop to retain some of the detail in the center window, which is critical to knowing what it is.

Both are very nice with Kelly being right about a bit more detail in the outside window of the second. I prefer the first and must commend you on seeing/capturing it and your presentation.

    Re: Windows inside windows

A Big THANK YOU to everyone for your kind words. I actually came across this image by mistake while shotting an underground parking garage door. I know what your thinking, A GARAGE DOOR. Actually, it had some interesting textures. Anyway, I make a habit of ALWAYS looking behind me, as I have found that an excellent way of seeing thing you have missed, and saw this image. I was quite shocked at how it turned out.

I have been playing around with photography for a little over 1 year now and been looking for honest, even brutal, comments. I am self taught and have no idea if i am doing things correctly. Thanks for your honest comments. I am looking forward to posting more images.
