    Window to the Sky

I haven't posted here for a while - and since I can't go past old things with rust I thought I'd jump in with this offering..............

    Critique and comments always welcome.

Ohhh, nice color and interesting composition, I like it - thanks for sharing it ;) If I did anything it would be to crop off a bit of the bottom to eliminate the dark spot caused by the uneven tin.

Love the colors, and as Aaron pointed out, the dark raised up tin is a little distracting. Also, the white under the window is a little distracting, but it is close enough to the subject (which i'm presuming is the window) to draw attention to it.

    Great shot,

    Re: Window to the Sky

I like this very much and I agree with the suggested crop along the bottom.
We had a skylight similar to this in our bedroom when I was very young. In spite of my Dads best efforts the blinking thing always leaked; consequently we always had a bucket on the floor of our bedroom to collect the unwelcome rainwater.
Your photograph reminded me again of all this.

Not bad, sort of abstract composition. I will be the one to say that I like the edge of the roof showing on the bottom as it brings extra texture and dimension, keeps it from being too flat. For me , it adds. Good show
