New to Forum

Hello all,

I am new to this forum and I am fairly new to photography. However, I am trying to improve, and I am always anxious for opinions about my pictures. Here are two pictures that may not be artistically good, but I really like them.

Both were taken with a Canon 10D using a Tamron 70-300 in macro mode.

The white flower is a pear blossum and the plants with the purple flowers are called iceplant.

Thanks in advance for any advice you may give.

Quite honestly they both look to be a little out of focus.... Other than that they're pretty good. I think the top one is my favorite, the bottom one might be better with a closer crop, so you just have the pink flower and the bug. *smiles* Decent pics and welcome to the forum, I hope to see more of your work.
