    Wild, wildlife!

Any feedback on the baby bison? Does the composition work?

    Thanks for the feedback, shane

Nice shots Babaji. I like the shot of the baby bison with it's mother. I think the composition is very strong. The image looks pretty soft to me tho, especially the calf's head. This seams to be the focal point of the image, but for me, the softness of the head detracts from the potential of this shot.

Well, first, I love the giraffe photo. That's my favorite of this bunch...I like how the one on the left stands out, and the other two are masked by the trees.
The baby bison I also like, and I do like the composition. But I wish a tiny bit more of the face were visible...if that's even possible...like even just having the whole eye in there. But otherwise, I like it a lot.
The first pic, I think you have too busy a background...you need the animal to stand out a bit more.
    Great photos in general though.

The image of the giraffes is the strongest for me, great composition and clarity. I would agree that the softness of the baby bison shot distracts me from the image itself although I do like the close crop of the image. Great work!

On another note, if you're very keen on nature photography have you ever checked out Nature's Best Magazine for inspiration and tips?!
