    White Rose

White rose with side lighting. Just something for your consideration.

Nicce shot, the only thing I feel I should critique is the lower rose, I think you shold have used either more or less DOF, to bring it into focus or to completely blur (if you have a wide enough aperature lens). But otherwise a very nice shot.

    Hey OT,

I think you have a very nice capture there... Great focus. Pleasant lighting. I agree with PG some about the lower flower, but I don't know what to suggest about it. Could you prune it?????

I'll have to say about that top rose. It's almost a perfect flower. People search all over for those...

    Cheers,

I agree with both of you on the lower rose. I tried some different crops nothing seemed to work. How about this a little PS work. Did that help any?

    Hey OT,

I think the added blur detracts more.. FWIW, I think your first shot is very strong. I'd be proud if I took it.

I'm in agreement with OldSchool on this one Larry. I like the original. Nice capture of a difficult color, um absense of color ?! I even tried a sharpening of the lower flower and and a "clear" effect with Virtual Photographer. I still like your photo better.

Thanks Lara. I think I do too. I was trying a dirty fix to problem that may not have needed to be fixed anyway. I did find the lower flower distracting, but the fix is more so.
