I would crop it closer to remove the offending item and bring in the right side a bit. Just tried it makes for a much better photo.

Hi, I find the head and the shoulder of the lady are disconnected. Very strange effect. Interesting shot!

I like the shot and like the DOF that fact that the lady in the green dress accentuates the shape of your wife's portrait is unusual, did you plan it that way or did it just happen. The white spot overhead does have to go. Did you get your wife to sign a model release? LOL
