    Weathered, Battered, and Neglected

Now that I'm moving west again...I've started taking pictures. Today was a pretty good day except for the fairly solid gray sky.

Glad to see you're up and moving...................physically and psychologically!!! You will probably be really glad you got out and got pictures of the place you're leaving -- might not really appreciate them until you get relocated and have a fresh perspective. This is an interesting place!

    Re: Weathered, Battered, and Neglected

I am currently living in the Raleigh area and I am constantly amazed by the large number of derelict buildings just rotting into the soil here. This place must have had some real boom and bust cycles to have so many abandoned homes, etc. around. The climate here also contributes to the rot of everything, with mildew and moss covering anything that is in the least way neglected.

Love the subject. i like the amount of foreground and that the snow is with ugly texture and patchy spots, as is the house.
I think there coukld be either a bit more contrast pop or some selective saturation.
Love the dreary mood, and that all the details in the house are there to enjoy.
Nice, and glad your inspired again.
