    Wave

Here are two pics for comparison. First is unedited and the second one is enhanced. Does it look over edited? Your comments and critique is greatly appreciated.

    Re: Wave

I like the green of the wave (translucent as Don said), but think the blue water went too far and is also starting to turn the sky purple. - Terry

OK, I must be learning a little bit.
Before I read OldClicker's comment I also thought the blue was too blue.

    Re: Wave

Just curious if you have any pictures of the big sailboat on the far left in the original picture that you can show us, Jeff

    Re: Wave

nice shot, I like the edit, it may be very slightly overeditted, but very subtly so, if anything reduce the color contrast between the green wave and the blue water.

    Welcome to the forums!

    Re: Wave

Like the colors in the first one better, second one looks over processed. I would just straighten the horizon and maybe crop it. You should head back out there Friday when Hurricane Earl comes by lol

Thank you guys! I will play with this pic again over the weekend and post it here for your review.
Sorry Grandpaw, I don't have a pic of that sailboat but will upload another one to my gallery.

    Re: Wave

    nice photo !!

I have tried many times to photo that instant when the light goes through the wave but never got a good one

Besides what has been already mentioned , I think the splashing water on top of the wave has been sharpened a bit too much

    Re: Wave

I think the last one looks natural but is more vivid than the orignal. The sky in the second one had an unnatural tint to it.

Nice job on the last one!
