A view from the Foothills Parkway

Just another landscape shot. This is a view of the Smoky Mtns. from the Foothills Parkway a few weeks back. Should the ridge in the foreground stay as is or cropped?
    Comments would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks,

    Scott

    Scott,

I'll say crop it. You can't crop it all but I believe that croping half of it would enhance the picture. The mountains and the sky looks plain fantastic but the foreground is just way too dark and it doesn't match the scene very well so partially croping it should improve the balance of the picture.

I agree with the crop. It just helps levels wise for the picture. I love the colors of the background mountains, great shot.

    Nice shooting,

I also agree with the crop. In half is what i was thinking as well. You have a very simple, pleasing looking shot. lighting was nice.

Another vote here for cropping it a little, at the moment it is a bit too dominant. Love the tones here, simple and effective.
