    Vienna opera house

    20D, hand held at 3200 iso, F4, 1/200

I probably could have gone down to 1600 ISO to gain some quality but I one really isn't supposed to be in there without tickets and those are the settings I went in with.

    Comments?

    Re: Vienna opera house

That's a cool picture, Arc, and I like to see it in its larger form here. I suppose I'd like to see a little more detail on the walls but I'm torn between liking the moodiness of the lighting. And since you can't have both, I'll take the good dynamic lighting. I definitely like the angle you caught. I think the only distraction is the large dark shape in the lower left-hand corner but you can hardly ask it to move, can you.
Very cool image, thanks for sharing!

I really like the warmth of this picture. The classical architechture, the lights, and the colors all make this a very pleasing photo. The bottom quarter is a little dark and not necessary to the rest of it. I might have aimed a tad higher so as to cut it out, but as is, this is pretty good. A very nice picture. It makes one think of Baroque music and such.

I love old world architecture & paintings are included as well. I love the angle at which you captured this. The dark area on the lower right of the frame is slightly distracting but overall
a very eye-appealing photo. Being that you had to shoot with settings as they were, did you manage to capture any other shots. Would love to see them.

Yeah, here are a few more of the opera house although they aren't anything I'm really proud of:
