Great shots, I love your first batch. The long shutter speed is always fun to play with and you did it well on these shots. I love the railling shot too, very nice lighting. Nice shooting and great colors,

    Re: Vancouver Down Town Area

thx jared~u know what~i 1st attemped to use A mode, but then the camera wont use longer than 1sec's sutter speed, so i do it with an unusually way. i used Sutterspeed pirority mode instead. And most of them were 4-8sec exposure. however, it was a super windy night and my frd's tripod is not quite strong enough...so there's some picture spoiled... as u can tell from the last pic of molson's sign, there's a gost shadow...i didnt notice it on the camera's LCD since its not my own camera and i haven't master the camera's functions yet...

    Hi,
I like shots 1 and 4 because of the mood and the composition. Some shots seems suffered from flare light. I am not sure if a hood would help. Nice work.

Very nice. I especially like 3&4 and then the first one in the second post. The slight camera movement in the first holds them back although I do like the trails in them. With my cheap slik tripod I've found that it's best to use the two second self timer as well as the tripod. Hanging something (camera bag or heavier) on the tripod can help too.
