    Tree: B&W Impression

Not sure if I am getting too unconventional... All comments are welcome.

    Cheers,

plchung...It looks like fireworks. It's ok for a pattern, but it really doesn't seem special to me as a stand alone photo. I would like to have something a little more, like maybe a few limbs or something that shows its a tree. In color, I guess it would be obvious.

I really like this shot a lot. It might benefit from a bit more contrast but I think the composition is very good and that you have a winner here.

Thanks Greg and Kit for your comments. Originally there was a little flower in the up left hand corner and there were also limbs on the right handside. I decided not to include these as enlarging the frame will destroy the pattern (from my point of view) by leaving too much space within the photo. Maybe as Kit said this is not a stand alone photo... as one of a series on pattern then it may look better.

    thanks again.

It's interesting to a degree, but I'm with Shesells on this one. As dadas115 said, a little more contrast may help some. Not bad
