    Is there a photo here?

    Hi all,

I was passing this in the car (Yes I know I shouldn't take photos from the car) but I was parked in a queue and the camera was shouting at me for lack of use in the last few days.

Is there a photo here is it worth going back with the Canon?

This was taken in a rush on a FujiFilm FinePix 4700z which is always with me. I changed it to B&W and sharpened a bit

It apears as if there may be several. Right now there are too many different shapes, textures and lines for a pleasing composition.

Re: Is there a photo here?

I agree, its too busy with no real focus on anything. Also, a bit murky and dull in lightness. My eye is finally led through the broken fence but there is nothing waiting for me to view, other than the window. But I think there are some good elements here for a few pics or so.

(btw, any good landscape shots from Wales from the past)?

    Carbon Terry,

    Thanks

Just read your biography in one of the other posts - WOW! great to have your comments - As soon as the Gales and Pouring rain stop I'll take the Canon for a walk. The only difficulty is that there is little room to take a photo as the gate is on the road and the only pavement (Sidewalk) is on the gate side.

It will be a challenge - but it should be fun.

    Hi Gary,

I will have to troll through all the negatives - When I get some time I'll try and post some.

It is somewhere there . It certainly warrants a second look. Maybe the house itself. Just an idea.

Re: Is there a photo here?

Indeed, there are several. The house, the window, the gate, the wall....

When you go back, please please please expiriment with various DOFs. I think you could do some really great things with this scene.
