    Theatre....pt. 3

A more serious character interacting with the challenged one, which invokes an interesting scenario. Trying to portray the sarcasm within the character on the right...do you feel it?

    Please, all comments appreciated,

    Jared

I like the expressions, though I'd like to see them better. The way the table gets in the way is problematic, although it adds a little bit of an intimate feeling like you are there, I think. Also the guy on the left is cut off too much in comparison to the one at roght.

Sweet mother of pearl, I did this shot when I was still in high school. Thanks for the comments Lava, and definately was nice to see this picture get bumped back up...it brings back some good hometown memories.

    Thanks,

    Jared

Jared--the bill of the cap the guy on the left seems to cast too much shadow over his eyes, and IMO maybe too much dark area above that maybe could have been cropped out.
I don't have much problem with the table, as I think it has relevence to what the photo is about.

    John,

Thanks for the comments. Everything seems much more clear now that this is almost 8 months ago.

    Thanks for the comments,

I'm not sure that LavaLamp is aware of it or not, but he is browsing threads from several months to over a year ago.Not that anything is wrong with that, but I don't see the point. People have moved on and are trying to get critique on pictures that are up to their latest skill levels

Jared, I'm not seeing the sarcasm that you were trying to capture, but I do think the tones are strong and the composition was not bad.

    Gary,

I don't mind him bumping up mine or yours, we both post here regularly still and can kind of appreciate a blast from the past. However, bring up people who haven't posted in 1+ month is a little pointless. I don't mind this photo, as it did get no critique originally, but I do admit I've grown leaps and bounds since than.

    Thanks for the comments Gary,

    Jared
