    Re: Sunsets

Welcome to the forum! I think these photos have a lot of potential. I love the colors in both of them. I really like the second shot with the wind mills. My biggest critique is the power lines in both photos. The one inthe second pic isn't too bad, bad, but would be a lot better without it. I don't mind the power poles in the first pic, but they are leaning to the left quite a bit. Perhaps they are actually leaning, or did you have your camera tilted? All the lines running thru the middle of the first pic are pretty distracting.

I think you have some eye cathing shots here, but those power lines have to go.

    Just my thoughts.

    Welcome to PR.com!
Of the two, I think the second one is far batter.
    Why?
The repeating windwills makes it more interesting.
If I were doing the juding I would certainly look at the second one.
The first one is too dark and busy.
I wouldn't want to discourage you from entering it, but I think the second stands a better chance at a ribbon.
    Good Luck!

    Re: Sunsets

I took the first one after a big hail storm. My Grandparents had griped at me to take a picture of the sunset until I did..... the power lines are crooked b/c they go across the yard from corner to corner....thanks for the comments!
