    sunflower and barn

    I posted this pic a year ago and have played with it now and then since.

    crop----considered maybe doing an square crop and cropping off the left side into a some of the petals? I like the concept with the overly saturated almost "fake" sky but some areas look too cut out (right side leaves near barn)...it's a fun picture...keep at it...it's very close.

    Mark, now that's one BLUE sky. I was going to suggest more separation between the flower and the barn but then took a look at your original image. I see that that stalk on the right kept you from shifting your vantage point.

    Fun image. A bit overly saturated and sharpened for my tastes, but still a fun image.

    the sky looks too monotone - gives it a cartooney type look (which if thats what youre going for then great!). very interesting idea though!

    As soon as I saw this, I thought about Soundgarden, "Black hole sun" specifically. I get it, and like it.
