This is a nice shot and I like the composition. The kid has a good expression and the hat he is wearing provides further interest to the picture. The exposure is right on.
I visited your website and must say that you have a great eye for streetportraits. This is something I would love to get better at, but must get more familiar with my camera and speed of operation. I'm still way to slow at composition and miss the moments that I should have gotten. You on the other hand are getting great moments and capturing people that make your photos very interesting.

I really like the composition in this shot. My only critique is that whenever I look at it I feel that the photo is tilted to the right - is it me?

Hmmm intersting shot. Love the subject matter, but there's almost too much going on in this picture. It seems a tad busy, and I don't believe that was your intention. From the bike wheel, to the other person, the roof in the far background, the walling on the left hand side, just a tad too busy for my liking.

I like this, as I do most of the pics you have posted thus far. I agree with roger in that it feels slightly tilted to the right.( clockwise) i like the dof i this alot. The environment is almost as important as the subject here.

btw, is it Enhanced Matte that your printing on?

Yes, that is now called Enhanced matte, which is what I like for matte as well. They recently changed the name from Archival Matte to Enhanced Matte. Same paper. I find that with Epsons new Matte black Ultrachrome ink, this paper has the deepest dmax of any other Matte paper I have tried thus far.

I think its nice, it shows the boys lifestyle as well as the boy himself.
