    Street job

I tok this photo in a hurry, in Brasilia, Brazil.

I'm not sure it's interesting enough the way it is, or should I get closer with zoom...

You can see the photo in it's full glory here.

    What do you think?

This is possible candidate for a zoomed version of the photo.

    Hello Erich,

I like this picture a lot. There is something about your sky rendition and how the umbrellas appears that grab my attention. The overall scene is obviously interesting too.

My two small concerns are that the picture could use some sharpenning. There is a strange blur which might come from your scan. Also, the wall in the background is tilted (was the stand set in a slight slope?) but the fact that the flower stand tilt in the opposite direction balance the whole scene so I guess that this is not really an issue.

    regards

    Seb

    Re: Street job

    Very nice street shot.
I really like the soft feel of the photo and the sky is very subtle, which works very well in this photo. I also like how the man is very busy at work and his attention is not focused on the photographer.
The tilt is not apparent in my opinion because the street has a nice straight line to it.
The thing that bothers me is that the man in centered in the middle of the photo. I think a stronger composition would have been to have him to the right a bit. This could be handled with a slight crop on that side...but then again I like how there is two half umbrellas at the edges.
Overall a strong photo with nice colors.
    Cheers,

Good scene. I lik,e the original full version scene. It is a bit contrasty and soft, but still works to be a pleasing image.
