    St. Louis

My wife and two of our close friends took a one day trip over to St. Louis and walked around here are a few of the shots that I took while walking around.

Looks like you had a pretty overcast day for these. Too bad, they'd really look good with some blue sky in there. The dome in the top shot looks a little crooked---could use some straightening.

Yep it is crooked. I didn't catch that, my wife was on me about taking pictures and if I took more than 10 seconds she was on me about it. Next time I'll remember to take an extra couple of bucks and send her to the mall while I'm out shooting.

Haha, I hear you! Sometimes I sense that my wife gets impatient if I linger too long over a shot. I'll have to remember the mall gambit.

You can always feel the eyes burning into you, and once that has moved up you hear her say come on (not understanding that it might take me a couple of minutes just to get my lighting and meter right before I take the first shot and usually I use that first shot to get the shot I want). But we can't all enjoy photography, or even understand it because no one would make money with it if we did ;)
