    Spring Break sucked...

First, I just ended up going home for break. When you have to pay your own way through school, there isn't much money left over for a week in Mexico...Second, the weather was so crappy. I only ended up with two shots that I thought were somewhat decent...

I like these two shots. The positioning of the birds, nearly all facing the same direction and with same pose give the branches a sort of arrow head shape.
The second one is lovely with good depth. The highest foreground tree with the branches on one side only is slightly in the way though.

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan

I really like the depth on the second shot! I think you've captured the sunlight, on a cloudy day, in a perfect spot! I might crop about a third of the sky and equal that crop from the bottom also.......Just my opinion.

Lovely 3d feel on the second shot, all the layers in this shot add a GREAT perspective. Love the first shot too, kind of a 'mysterious' feel to it.

Somewhat decent??? C'mon!! these are both strong compositions and the lighting of the second picture kick some.... well you get the point!!!

However, I'd see the first picture in b&w. It seems to me that the gloomy nature of the crows calls for it.
