    Something Disgusting

I guess this is more of a snapshot.

    But it's still gross.

    Edit, critiques are encouraged.

I should've guessed from the title that i should not venture in....oh well....that'll teach me...

I like it...it does not feel like a snapshot.... but it does feel more dark than needed to fit the subject matter....

I did not look at it much though.....i do hate bugs and arachnids (hate looking at them although i love learning about them...they facinate me) so my comments are based on a couple of seconds.....I'm avoiding this image at all costs.... I would throw myself in the middle of a wolf pack's fight for leadership....and not stay one second to take this picture

Haha, I guess you'll think twice before entering.

Looks like you used the on-camera flash?
Try a piece of card on taped top of the flash to reflect some fill-light downwards.
The flash is designed for subjects well in front of the camera, and the lens appears to have shaded the bottom of the close-up.
I find with my Minolta A1 & A2 I have to take the lens hood off for macros.
