    softness

    A play with narrow depth.
    50mm at 1.4 + asahi close-up lens

    Very nice shot Snoid. ok, so i'll nitpick! I think a square crop removing the flower on the right makes this already nice shot that much nicer. I keep looking on the right, when i crop it with the browser the subject is much more captivating. Having said that, it's already a gorgeous painting like capture.

    Thanks for all of your comments.
    I like the echo of a flower behing the subject.

    Leels? I like your sugjestion but didn't want affect the green bokeh on the upper right.
    The way it darkens so smoothly.
    On crop I did consider was removing the bit of red flower on the lower left.
    Like this.
    Still follows the rule of thirds . I just like the ballance in the original a bit better.
