A nice contrast of white and the gray and the colors are nice, yet there isn't much subject matter wise to hold on me onto this shot.

    Nice concept,

I like the concept of this shot, and I really like the colors. The image seems to be a bit on the soft side tho. We have just had our 1st really beautiful week here, and you have to go and show me snow... ;) A very nice first post, keep them coming!

    Re: Snow Day

I like the fence in the foreground and it's quite obvious that thought went into this composition. The vertical railing is straight with the frame and i like the horizontal rails slanting down the frame. Would have helped a bit for some lighting to fall on the snow on the fence and the image should be sahrper, although it may be your conversion to the web format that softened it up. Good concept and not a bad first post. Welcome.

    Re: Snow Day

    Thanks for your replies guys.

The picture did look a lot sharper on my computer, but its is something that i struggle with most of the time anyway. My pictures never seem to look as lovely and crisp as everyone elses on this site does.

(and i think there isnt any light on the fence is due to my car being a little bogged down in the path of light. )
