    Similar differences

I thought this was a cool shot. I did a little cropping to remove some partial skulls. These are dire wolf skulls excavated from the La Brea tar pits in Los Angeles. The display was behind glass and lit by an amber glowing background.

I think these are side on views of the skulls, exposed for the background to make them silhouette.

    Bindows.
I saw that display when I was there and as much as I looked at it, could not figure out a way to compose for it. The light was also awful...So, I gave up on that...I think, If I had to do that shot now after pondering it for a spell, I would use a telephoto lens and try and grab it at an angle with some fill flash to give it that 3d look about it....Aside from that, I do not know...Here are some pics I took there if your interested...I know I am planning on going back...

    Re: Similar differences

I think having them in silhouette like this gives the viewer a better perspective on the similarities and differences in the skulls.
Might be pretty cool in a frame on a wall if you have the decor to fit.
