Thats a pretty creepy place, like the feel the hdr shot gives. That one ceiling tile on the right is a little blown out

I'm having a hard time figuring this out. Is it a double exposure? - TF

Nice shot. ...starting to get some of that grungy texture on the left wall that characterizes overdoing it in local contrast enhancement. I have always liked the effect...

    Re: Silent Reflections

Whenever I see a post by you vmlopes I know it'll be good. I think the shot really works - has plenty of mood, feeling of surroundings, detail, shadow, and a very interesting subject too. I'm going to a medical facility tomorrow, so maybe not what I want to see

How. may I ask, do you get your shots so sharp? Even with tripod, timer shutter release, etc, my shots are not this sharp.

Ditto what GB1 said!............................................. ......except I'm only going to a medical facility to visit a friend.

Great shot and PP ...I like it....the only think that I find odd is the 3 blue spots.....they look like were added rather than being part of the scene.

G, good luck with the medical facility and thanks for the comments.

Sharpness wise, I'm not sure. I use a Canon 5DII so always have a large full of detail file to start with, have no in camera settings set, always shoot high quality Raw, for most of the Urbex work its a Canon 17-40L lens, a decent tripod and timer release, do my PP and then just a small USM at the end of everything, save as full size and then use a little programme called Pixresizer to resize to whatever size I need for the web etc. I know there are other ways, but this works for me.

BlueRob, coming from you the comments are very much appreciated, the blue spots are some stickers either side of the doors, the third is a reflection...........

I was going to post up some more creepier ones from here, but if you guys are off to a medical place I'll hold off, let me know if you wanna see

    Thanks mate

Regarding the blue stickers I think it will look better without them...takes away abit of the mood....but tha is a nit pick and my personal feeling.

Creepy shots you say? come on! post them up! if we can handle Daq's mood we can handle yours
I like the feeling of them...special flavor to this type of PP.

Okay, BLUERob -- I had to search twice to find those BLUE dots - now that's all I see!

VML: Yeah, indeed, those are creepy -- very creative -- but creepy! First is best, though, IMHO.

    Re: Silent Reflections

the HDR is intense in this one, but it works....I think the red door on the left draws me away from the reflection...I might try cropping it out. nice work....man, that place is creepy...

First thing I said when opening this post was "#$"#$% &&%# !!!
some pejorative spanish words, that will probably translate well into Holy cow !

I do like it very much

Looking hard to find something that needs improvement, I'll say it is ...

A bright spot son the ceiling above the window, the details are lost

From the second series the one where you are seating on the table is very good, very interesting light
