    Signs of Spring

    I had to get the knees dirty for this one.

    Scott, lighting seems soft and good for this pretty subject. Might be cropped too tightly for my preference, and dof is good in that nothing in the bg is distracting, however I wish there was more evidence of the stem belonging to this subject. Other than that, a nice shot but wish you had posted larger so I could see more texture and detail. . .right now it sort of appears as if the flower is floating on it's own free will, not being able to see the stem.

    Dear Scott,

    This is a nice shot. I would say, however, that I would like a little more detail on the flower. It seems a little too vanilla right now. Maybe some different lighting, or texture. More a personal preference than anything.

    the size is there now, and although it is a good subject , i feel as if it is too centered and cropped too tightly.
