    I seems under exposed and the white balance needs tweaked to the cooler side.

    I'd say it looks a bit soft too. You could always flip it around too. paint.net check it out.

    @greg - Any better? Realized after you said that, that the door is actually much darker than it looked in the original

    @n8 - thanks for the tip Kinda forgot I could do that. Does it look sharper now? or do you think it needs more.

    I'm never really sure how sharp to make it. Is there a general rule for how sharp to make it? Or is just a preference kinda thing?

    So you're saying you're actually an SLR emiles? Invader from the planet Canon, eh?

    Seriously ... I don't see any reflection in the lens to say that it's a SP. I like the concept of the shot, except that I can't see any info in the glass, but I do not like the background, it looks really cheapy. But you're on to something here.

    @GB - drats...your on to me

    the whole thing I was going for was not a self portrait of myself, but that of the camera. Unfortunately, the mirror is right in front of the bathroom door so not much I can do about the background.

    don't know if anyone else suggested it but how about removing the straps?
