Caught these little guys hanging out at the beach the other day. Not too sure about the DOF- is it enough? I used a borrowed Olympus digital, on super macro mode. Hand-held, dodging high surf...

I like this, your composition is good , lighting is interesting and the soft subtle colors are pleasing. On my monitor, it seems the dof is ok as evrything seems sharp enough. Good image

Hey, thanks. I was thinking that this was just another "shells" themed photo, but I was very happy with the colors. It just seems (and maybe it's just me) like the DOF is just a little too shallow. I shot it on manual, using the smallest aperture the camera had, f/8. I had to bump the ISO to 400, though, which may be why I'm thinking this image is a little soft... I printed it at 8x10 and it looks great on my wall. Thanks again!
