    Roomate Baseball

My roomate is a baseball fan, but he tends to live the game from the couch :-) Some items presented a photo oppurtunity. Sort of a commentary on how most people seem to play the game. I think the shadow to the right is distracting and I am thinking about a way to shoot the scene that brings the main subject closer.

    Canon 10D 17-40 mm @ 17mm
    iso 200, f 5, 1/6 s
    Desaturated with ps

    Thank you for your comments.

An interesting perspective on a common theme. I like it.
    Befriending the friendless
    Bringing odor to the odorless
    Faith to the doubtful
    Doubt to the faithfull
    Clothing the sick and

Pete, Good Idea! while viewing this photo, I know that the subject is the relationship between the glove and the remote Control... But you mentioned that you were thinking about bringing the main subject closer, I assumed you mean the glove...
    Two thoughts on that:

color? So that you see the old worn glove ( unless you are shooting it on a Red couch, then disregard this idea!)

I'd like to see maybe a little more focus on the glove, either that or a newer style remote! lol ( with a newer remote though, i may change my mind on the Out of Focus glove though!)

    Hi-
this shot was somewhat of a grab, but not that you mention it I am thinking about going back. I only have one remote, so that is there to stay, but I have a bunch of gloves so maybe I will try one with a nice deep leather color. That should bring some attention to itself especially with a bit more DOF. By saying bring the subject closer I meant that I would basically crop the existing image, but I liked the shadows so i didn't.

Thank you very much for commenting.

Keep the remote; it is clearly a remote control, none of this new-fangled silvery plasticy stuff

    Nice photo.
