    Re: morning fog before sunrise

    Hi,

They are all VERY good pictures!
Of the three, I like the last one most.

~The branches to the left of the photo help lead the eye in.
~I also like that the grasses at the edge of the lake are included.
~The two pointy trees add to the composition.

I think it might look better if the picture were cropped a bit on the right, so the pointy trees were more to the edge.
The color, brightness and contrast all look good to me.

thanks i see what you mean about the right side cropping to the pine tree's only would work and still not take anything away from the shot, thanks.

I think the first one is killer. The dock makes a nice leading line into the frame and the sun. Great colors and reflections too.

    I'll take two!
    No, I DON'T need that.

I like the composition of the second but that blue fog just doesn't look right.

Number 3 is nice but clone the top of the tree leading off frame at top right. Should be pretty easy clone..

    Number one is VERY nice.
    Good work !
    Keep Shooting!

    Re: morning fog before sunrise

thanks for all looking, its funny we were in the dark when we got there,so we had our whitebalance set for incandescent, then later i switched over to cloudy, then as the sun rose more i switched back to auto wb,so my earlier longer exposure ate my battery power up fast,(did not recharge the night before) so had to put the charger on in the trunk for the nikon, and went to my back up camera the sony h5,all three of these shots were from the sony point and shot on manual settings, but live view is really a awesome feature, takes all the guess work out and see the results before shooting, don't go anywhere without the back up. thanks for viewing.
