This works really well as a cyanotype and I think a color shift to bring the rock out might do more harm than good.

Re: A rock with a heart

Is it shot in raw format?
What I do with many of my photos is to push the black a few hairs. Seems to give more definition in some cases.

Frog, you can also do it to jpgs. In photoshop make a new adjustment layer > selective color... From the dropdown box choose black and slide black to +5%

For the record, I like it as is. If anything I may make it bluer in some areas

I love the depth of field! I wouldnt do much to it, maybe a tad bit more contrast or black in it to really draw the eye to the heart, but otherwise I think this is a great shot

I put this in Photoshop and just did an auto levels correction and sharpened it some. So what do you think? Jeff

you can also do it to jpgs by opening them with ACR. I have my preferences set to automatically open jpgs with the raw editor, I like it because it's a quick way of batch processing things and saves time over going through levels and curves and saturation, etc. It puts all the things you need at your fingertips.
