I think it's good and better than most in this genre. The best shots like this have a fore-, middle-, and back-ground and a path connecting them. You have the path with the line, but not the clear progession.

The colour of the landscape helps this picture no end and the little contrasts created by the stones on either side is great. The dip in the road keeps monotony at bay. I like this.

I hear what you're saying. I think it might worked better had I exposed the water and sky better. That would've given it an added depth. They are way too over exposed. Thanks.

I agree with Lava, i would also like the sky to contribute something here, my eyes are led up there and there is nothing to see.

I find that I like this a lot. My first impression was that the picture could have taken advantage of a better exposed sky (perhaps a merge of 3 or 4 frames exposed differently) but in the ends, I like the feeling that the roads leads to emptiness. The tones in the water are very delicates and especially elegant in my view.

I'm with seb. I think if the road and the hills were "sunny" then it would need a sunny sky and sunny water. But given that it's rather a gloomy (albeit beautiful) landscape, I think the sky and water play well into the rest of the frame. It's a gorgeous shot.

Yeah, This is one shot I sorta regret not taking a bit of care exposing it right. I was in a Taxi and we came to this road, I had to yell STOP! It was so magnificant! I was in the middle of the desert with the pacific ocean staring in the face and what looked like the end of the road. Thanks Roberto.

That's exactly what I should've done! Multi exposures merged together at post production. Too bad it's thousands of miles away now. I'm glad you still like it Seb. Thanks man.
