Please give me your advice, criticisms and comments on the following picture. It is of a river close to my house on a rainy day yesterday.

Here is the exposure I intendeded to post originally, I thing the exposure and composition if the river is much better.

you are a mess lol ...by the way you can go back to your own posts and hit edit(lower righ corner) and then you are given the option of deleting...

As far as your shot I like the angle at which you shot it at and I really like the colors and saturation...only thing is that plant growing in the foreground...it doesn't completely detract but it doesn't really do a lot for it either... good luck with future postings... ;)

I think your absolutely on the right track with this as a subject. However, I would like to see the framing shifted a little to the right. It would give the water somewhere to go and increase the activity along the Z-axis. I also think it would give the foreground plant a more prominent place and make it look more like you are establishing depth and less like an inconvenience. Just my humble opinion.

Here are a couple of others of the same river from different angles and spots. You are right I am a mess hopfully this will work better.

I think you are right it would be better to have the rivver going somewhere, better luck next time. I took about 20 shots from that spot you would think I would have moved it a little but nope.
