    Lightbulb A Return Engagement

    Dear Phriends,

Since my last light writing picutre was such a big hit, I decided to indulge your taste for the exotic and post another one . Only black and white this time. I would appreciate your comments as usual.

Wow! This picture is awesome! It looks like the model is actually moving, I love this shot.
What I would do, though, is put some pure blacks in this picture. Play with the levels and the curves a bit.

    Nice shot!
What do you mean 'how come photographers are so ugly all the time'? That's because they never have to stand in front of the camera.

    Dear Phriends,

I probably should have prefaced this picutre with an explination. That is actually me in the picture, and I used only one flashlight . If you want any technical details, go to my gallery for the exposure and aperture. Thanks for the comments. Oh, by the way, I upped the contrast a little bit. Is this better?

    Re: A Return Engagement

This is a great image. I'm not sure you really need the extra contrast, I would just play with a few different crops. You've got a lot of choice, but from the original image I would suggest that there is a little space to the left, and rather more on the right that you could afford to lose to really focus attention on the figure (you!). Personally I would leave a faint semi-circular trail going from shoulder to shoulder and use that to define the width of the image. It makes me think of the Leonardo da Vinci Vitruvian Man painted in light.
