    Patterns

Alright finally I got some of these on my computer through a process that took forever. Sorry about some of the problems with these, a lot of the problems came from the scanner I was using. Please comment!

    Re: Patterns

Good ideas for both pictures. The critiques I have in the first picture is that, first off, the overexposed area near the top and to the left of the lockers is quite distratcing. Also, the human in the back and the garbage can take away from the 'patterns' feel. In the second one, I'd recommend a tighter crop to elimante the unnecessary stuff on the right.

Good shots but could be better,

    Jared

I like the seats the better of the but they both lack sharpness and or focus in the critical areas of the images. The tonality of the seats is part of what caught my eye along with the relationship of the two opposing rows of seats.

    Perhaps better scans?

    Best wishes - CDP

    Re: Patterns

Thanks for the advice guys. I noticed that about the scans, it didn't give me the sharpness I had in the originals, another problem is that the real size of these are 8x10 which were too big to upload, so I had to shrink them a lot. I really am not happy with the quality of the scan of the chairs, there isn't as much contrast as the original had and it just isn't very sharp. Another problem is the scanner I was using is one of those scanner/copier/fax/printer type things, so it doesn't have a very big space to scan onto. The prints are 8x10 but the mounting board I have all of them mounted on is far bigger. Anyways, thanks for the advice guys and I'll try and work on the scanner situation.
