Oregon Winter 2005

So, last weekend I was out skiing on Mt. Hood w/o much snow, and this weekend was spent on the beach running about in a swimsuite. That's a dry winter....

But, there still is some winter swell running. This shot shows some of the outer break going off leaving the wave-riders with sloppy seconds on the inner break (I wish I had a longer lens).

I spent a good amount of time climbing around trying to capture this guy, and I'm not satisfied. When I go back, I'll focus more on just the roots and how they have dug-in on this tenuous perch....
