    Orchids

We got some orchids recent and I find them fascinating to look at. My first few photos were dismal, but I ended up setting this one to my desktop image. (Hence the black bars.)

Does it work for you or it cheesey photoshop overkill?

i like it, but i would like to see the complete middle part of the flowers. perhaps cutting them out and making them go in front of the black bar would be good.

No, it's a great pic. Beautiful Orchids I like your rendition, but I agree that it would be great if part of the petal was going on the black bar. Try it, you may like it.

I think it works. It's a sort of abstract without going too far. But I have to disagree with the other posters here, if there's one thing that is "cheesey photoshop overkill" it's the "cut-out and go over the frame" effect that has only been used more than the amount of dollars in the national debt...

How to tell the most experienced shooter in a group? They have the least amount of toys on them.
