    'nother Macro

I photographed this brown anole yesterday with a D70 and Tamron 90mm macro lens with a Tamron 1.4x teleconverter, set at somethng like f/22 and 1/320 with flash. It is cropped about 30%. These lizards are a litel bigger around than a #2 pencil and more colorful than I thought up close. Tell me what you think and how you would improve it.

    Nice detail

Nice crisp detail and like you point out the flash did bring out color that we don't usually see. I like the angle of the shot, but have a problem with the crop. I love good tight crops on macro, but here I would have prfered to see the knee/elbow on the leg just to help balance the image a little and perhaps a bit more room for his nose to the left. As always an excellent photo from a technical view point.

wow, this little guy is about the size of a pencil? Very interesting to know! I can't tell if he just has less texture on the top of his head, or if its soft focus there?
