    Nonntime Wasp

Here is an image similar to one I posted on Viewfinder. This one was shot the next day at a little after noon with the sun high in the sky. I used a setup that I have not tried before. It is with the 105mm but this time I added a +2 close-up filter lens. Hand held 1/125 at f25. How would you suggest that I improve on this photograph?

I seem to have lost a lot in the resize here on this one. Need to learn how to do this better. At any rate have at it as is.

What do you see as the problem. The image looks pretty good to me. I copied it off and is a USM on the Lightness channel in Lab Color Mode. Does that help enough?

Your shot is really well framed and executed. Beautiful detail.

The posted version was just not as crisp as what I had on my monitor before the post. I'm not at all sure about your take seem to be a little over sharpened for my taste. If I just could learn a little more about the ins and out of PS I would be a lot better off. Thanks for your efforts.

I think that this is a pretty great shot and find it hard to say how you can improve upon it !
