    Re: No title

Looks like you are sneaking behind he corner to shoot someone drinking coffee

Other than documenting the guy was at this location ... I don't see it as a great photo ... you have way better street shots

What i like about this are the shapes, lines, colours, textures. the only thing that bugs me is i wish there was more separation between the guy and the corner thingy.

Maybe I am being fooled by some illusion here, but his back looks way weird to me. The stairs appear to be behind the pedestal to the left, he's appears to be at the top of the stairs, and then his back appears to be in front of the pedestal...

Love the colors and lines. I wish he stood out just a little more from the bg. if there were some way to bring out a little more detail in the subject and make him - I really hate to use the word, but pop - it would add dimension to an already interesting scene.

I would like to know how you were able to capture just one person on these steps. How about Coffee Break as a title. Personally, I like shots such as these and do not mind at all the huge open space, the overwhelming block at the left side. Without it, the shot is entirely different and not the feeling you were trying to capture. Very touch exposure with this shot that you handled well.

Interesting, isn't it? I see some illusion myself...you knew the scene is 3-dimensional but it kind of looks it's 2D in the photo.

Because there was only him on the steps

And he was checking messages or something, too.

Truth to be told, I use aperture auto for street shots (otherwise I'm manual mode all the time) to allow me to shoot and move.
