Here's the original frame with no crop and more contrast. When I start adding contrast I find I need to either add some fill light to bring out some detail or brighten the whole frame which takes away from the contrast adjustment. Adding contrast is also increasing the halo effect I am getting at the tree line. It's hard finding a happy medium.

I definitely like having more room. It doesn't seem near as crowded and now the trees on the top are not cut off, Jeff
