This is really great, I wish I could see it full size. You've captured the majestic beauty of the rockies quite well. Also welcome to the site.

This is a beautiful scene and not a bad shot. Something does not feel right to me about this panorama, not quite sure what it is. I think the right side of the frame being closed up by the mountain is giving a closed in feeling whereas it would have felt better if the sky were to flow through the whole scene. Welcome to the forum. Look forward to see more from you.

    Hi Wallingj,

This shot is well exposed and sharp. I like to overall warmth of the colors in the foreground. But like Gary, I feel that there is something missing in this composition. I think that I would have tried to get more ground and less sky. I also find the fact that there is a big gapping hole right in the middle foreground to be distracting. It feels like you are on the edge of a precipice. Maybe this is the source of my uneasiness as a viewer? There is also no strong FG object (tree, boulder big bush, backpack?) to anchor the viewer and give some sort of reference.

    Overall, this is a keeper.

    Cheers,

    Steph.

Yep that is a problem with pan. something gets clipped in the stiching, I need to keep that in mind the next time I layout a shot.

I like this shot a lot. It is pretty small so I am sure it looks even more impressive in full size. I like the composition a lot and how the sky is not blown out and has some nice clouds. It looks like you stitched three pictures for this one. Did you use the kit lens? You might try to brighten up some of the dark areas on the right side and in the center of the picture.

    Keep up the good work,

    Greg

I like it a lot and that sky is stunning. I don't mind there not being a forground subject because to me it feels like your flying over the mountains, like an arial view. You did a great job on the stitching, can't see where it was done. Looking forward to seeing more of your shots.
