    More Action

I was finally given some daylight to shoot in for my sons baseball game. I continue my journey in action photography and was pleased today with several of the shots. Let me know what you think.

I always forget to include this information, rookie.

    ISO 100
    F/7-8.5
    1/250-1/500

I was experimenting all day and do not have the exact reads off the images.

excellent action shots! i like #'s 2 and 3 the best, and especially how you caught the entire play in shot # 2 as the ball is thrown and about to be caught for the attempted tag.

    keep the action shots coming

I used the aperature priority setting and and made sure that my shutter speed was always above 1/250. I submitted smoe pictures earlier that I shot at ISO 1600, because of lighting, and was not happy with the grainy look. I dedicated this day to ISO 100 and adjsuted aperature to control the shutter speed and photos turned out great. One of the benefits of digital is that I can alter the ISO setting on each shot.

Great action shots! My favs are also #'s 2 & 3. You even froze the ball in #2. Great work! The jumping boy in # 3 looks like he's going to jump right on top of the sliding boy! ;)

You'll be happy to know that no player was injured during the filming. Just kidding. Thanks for the feedback. I was pleased with the results in Photo 2 when I got home and was able to to the photo full size.

I think #2 is the highlight here. Your timing is dead on with these. Angles seem to be better than in previous shots as well.
