    Smile Moose

Traveling up interstate when I got this shot. Probably could have gotten closer, but not sure if I was brave enough. Not sure if it was a female or a baby. Either way, it was keeping it's eye on me.

    Re: Moose

Looks like a relative I have. Good thing you didn't get too close though - these things can be pretty mean if they want to be (or so I hear).

The photo's good for what it is. It's a very head-on shot, and might have been better as a candid shot (it's obviously very aware you're there). Not bad though - I like it. You don't have to figure it out, it's all right there for ya

Very good shot, it keeps me hoping that I will run into some of those when i go up to northern Ontario in a couple of weeks.

Thanks for sharing. I was thinking theother day that I don't think I've ever seen a live moose in person, but would like to. The photo looks a little pixelated and lacking in contrast, but you can't beat the subject.

I've viewed this photo a few times, and it keeps on reminding me of a painting. It has a very neat effect with the brightness, and a great shot!

    Wonderful shooting,

Thanks Jared! I never thought of it like that, but now that I look at it again I agree. It does look like a painting.
