    Amazing what an extra 100mm can do. I borrowed a 400mm lens so I could take shots like this and they weren’t sharp at all. I wasn’t sure if my tripod was shifting during exposure or what.

    BTW I love this shot! I'm a sucker for shots of the moon!

    I tried again last night and was not as successful and I'm not sure why. I used the same settings.

    Maybe humidity? I would guess its weather/pressure related.
